During our recent stay at this charming hotel in the heart of the Old City, we experienced a delightful blend of comfort and culinary appeal. The breakfast was a lovely selection of sweet pastries and fresh fruit, perfect to start the day. While basic, it was sufficient for my indulgent Italian palate. Federico, the owner, went out of his way to ensure we felt at home, resolving our transport issue with genuine care. The room itself was spacious, featuring a large balcony that provided a lovely view of the canal—a perfect spot for winding down with a glass of local wine in the evenings. On our first night, we dined at the hotel’s adjacent restaurant, where the ambiance was warm and inviting. The dishes showcased local ingredients with a modern twist, a thing I truly appreciated as a foodie. After our meal, we enjoyed some drinks at the bar, which added a relaxed vibe to our evening. Though the décor had hints of nostalgia, the overall experience, value for money, and friendly service made our short stay memorable. With the Old City just a lovely 20-minute walk away, this hotel is ideal for those exploring both culinary delights and historical treasures in the area.
